REEL AROUND THE WORLD FISHING ROD CHALLENGE! (Zebco 202 fishing rod challenge)
Please make sure to SHARE this video so that we can get as many people as possible involved with this challenge!
This is a different type of challenge designed for fishing You Tubers. The idea of challenge, in a nutshell, is a pass around of one single rod to different You Tubers to see how many different places this rod can go and how many different kinds of fish it can catch before the rod becomes unfishable. Each You Tuber will use the rod to catch ONE fish (I know that may be hard for you guys but try to refrain so we can make the rod last. At least try to only catch a few please. Lol), video it, and upload it to his or her channel. They will then pick another You Tuber to send the rod to and the cycle will continue. Get the idea?
So ok here are the rules……
- You have to Like, Share, and Subscribe to the channel posting the video to be considered. You also have to put a comment on the video itself.
- You have to be an active fishing channel You Tuber uploading content fairly regularly. (This is to help ensure the video is made and the challenge will continue.)
3.You must take a picture of yourself, the fishing rod and the fish. Included with or on the photo must be the date the fish was caught, where the fish was caught, the type of fish (name), and the name and link of your You Tube channel. Pictures are to be emailed to Jupitergeorgefishing@gmail.com. ( This is so I can update where the rod has been and shout out your channel.)
- You must include the name and link of the previous channel in the video description. Also you must include the name and link of the channel you are sending the rod in the description (This could be possibly in another video, i.e announcement video)
. Picking who is next for the challenge is entirely up to the person with the rod at the time. I am hoping they will also pick someone who they think will complete the challenge.
6.The title of the video must be “REEL AROUND THE WORLD FISHING ROD CHALLENGE!” in all capital letters with ! at the end. This is so you can track the rod with You Tube search. If the titles are all the same I thinking should be easy to find.
- The fishing rod can be relined, oiled, taken apart, cleaned, or whatever you have to do to make it fishable but NO NEW PARTS can be used on it. It must remain completely ORGINIAL. (Please take care of my baby!)
When the rod is finally deemed unusable, by the person in possession of it, I would like it mailed back to me. You can contact me at Jupitergeorgefishing@gmail.com to make arrangements for return. I will make a video about the history of the rod (if this works) and then possibly donate it a fishing club or something.
These rules must be posted in your description.
SO WHAT DO YOU THINK??
ARE YOU READY TO CATCH A FISH?
COMMENT DOWN BELOW!!!
Fished in the Indian Ocean with the REEL AROUND THE WORLD FISHING ROD CHALLENGE ZEBCO 202.
We hooked some type of fish and a Tiger Shark decided to eat it for lunch! Then we hooked something else that nearly spooled me before it busted me off.
Weather got a bit rough and cameraman got quite crook so we had to call it a day and come in.
Leanne was all good by morning so we headed out again!
Then finally on the 2nd day we hooked this Gorgeous Western Australian Juvenile Pink Snapper!!! It was 17.9″ long and weighed just on 4Lb and was released!!!
I put braided fishing line on there and used size 2/0 Mustad Hooks and a standard Paternoster Rig. I just used squid for bait!!!
